Great food, not as spicy as I’m used to but very tasty. The restaurant is well laid out, it’s quite large but by judicious use of walls and booths it can feel quite intimate. It has a small car park at the rear and since many customers are locals it is probably sufficient. It would be a 5 if the staff were more welcoming and friendly! On entrance it felt as if we were being a nuisance wanting a table. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tandoori Palace:
it was a Tuesday night and we eat early so it was calm and a little soulless. but the service was good, not always in an Indian? the menu has all the formula options that my friends took and felt underwhelmed. I went for the shahi chicken jeera masala that was excellent. there are a few boring British brewing Indian beer on tap, but nothing with a real bite and no options for wine through the glass. As the name suggests, it's a proper Indian cum Bangladeshi cuisine. Pros: Taste is good, little less spicy curated for wide range of customers. Atmosphere is excellent. Cost is quite average for such good food, appreciated, they have good menu as well. Cons: 1. One waiter, looks like a potato(both face and body, is irritated by phone calls, has a grumpy face, puts on a fake smile, pays less attention, not very welcoming). The other staff were relatively better. 2. Since its a proper fine dine, the food takes quite long to come to your table, I don't know if it's because it's freshly cooked, or it's taken care as such because it's a fine dine. Don't go hungry, but go for spending a relaxing time. 3. Quantity can be a little bit more, samosa tasted excellent, but the quantity is very less for around 4pounds(at the time of writing this review).
I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered a curry and onion bhaji, and the food was served hot and delicious, right on time. I would definitely recommend it.
The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend it.
The ambiance was great and the service was excellent. We stayed for three hours and the food was absolutely delicious and tasty. It is definitely worth a try.
