Seafood Shake may not sound like a typical restaurant name, but don't let that deter you from trying it out. My initial thought was that they served seafood-flavored drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the garlic prawn dish I had on my first visit. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up returning two more times. However, some dishes like the fried fish were a bit too greasy and salty for my liking. The crayfish d... View all feedback.
What R M doesn't like about Seafood Shake:
This restaurant is claiming to be New Orleans style, but all they do is throw seafood in a bag with Old Bay seasoning. The fried oysters tasted terrible, like they were scraped off the bottom of Lake Erie. When we told the owner we didn't like the food, she just brushed it off and said she liked it that way. She didn't offer a refund or exchange, even though no one at our table enjoyed the meal. The only decent thing... View all feedback.

Don't expect good customer service here, just focus on spending your money.
This restaurant appears to be a family-owned establishment with a casual café atmosphere. The Singapore fried rice was quite heavy and sticky, lacking in prawns and chicken. The curry sauce served on the side was thick and unappealing. Overall, I found the meal to be uninspiring and I had considered giving it another try, but ultimately decided against it.

I enjoyed it so much that I ended up returning two more times. However, some dishes like the fried fish were a bit too greasy and salty for my liking. The crayfish dish left a bit to be desired as the crayfish were on the smaller side and it was tedious to shell them for the small amount of meat inside. Overall, Seafood Shake is a nice restaurant located on Regent Street. I would rate it 3.5 stars, but since I can't, I'll round up and give it 4 stars.
Wholesome fare. Very family orientated, but with one drawback the TV screens displaying the food on offer shouldn't happen.
Lovely food and owners!!! They also do take aways which is a BONUS for this restaurant. Simple layout of the restaurant but the food and service is excellent! Felt I was family!
