read moreMai Thai, a Thai restaurant with a rich history, offers a mix of experiences. While some faced issues with delivery and missed items, others had a delightful dining experience. The food was praised for its delicious flavors, generous portions, and reasonable prices, even with discounts available. The ambiance, despite lacking music, was pleasant, with a unique setting in an old cricket pavilion. Despite a hygiene rating of 2, the staff were friendly and eager to please. Overall, Mai Thai seems to offer a mixed experience, with some customers recommending it for a delicious meal and others cautioning against potential issues.
Hobbs pavilion is now a Thai restaurant, but we have managed to call for only drinks. interesting blue plaque on the outside wall and weathering with a batsman.
