What User doesn't like about Sushi Planet:
Service was good. The place can use good cleaning with all built dust behind the TV. Food was just noodles with Teriyaki sauce. Poki was not fresh and very fishy. Sushi roll looked like it was squified and not appetizing. I knew there was a reason we didn't go there. View all feedback.
I have been craving a good sushi place, and my friend recommended Sushi Planet. This is literally THE BEST SUSHI. Honestly, it was delicious! The restaurant has a nice vibe to it, the waiter and staff are so incredibly friendly. I highly recommend coming here. I also highly recommend getting the sautéed garlic shrimp roll, it 's called the Jupiter Roll . That blew my mind! Genuinely, if you 're looking for a good sushi place, and have a craving like I did... come here. Sushi Planet Is The Best!!
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. You can see it from the freeway and it doesn't look amazing but when you actually drive to it, it's an adorable part of downtown camarillo. There's an ice cream place nearby. The prices were excellent and the sushi I tasted was yum. It's not Nobu ...lol, but it hits the spot after baseball. Will definitely be back. Service was good and very fast.
The specialty rolls are amazing, especially the tropicana roll (get it spicy). Also, they play quirky food prep/eating videos and it’s a vibe in there. 10/10 will go again every week.Food: 5/5
