Agave Maria's - Camarillo

The food was delicious, but the service took a long time. It took a while for the waitress to assist us with the check, which was frustrating.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it for people of all ages. They offer a variety of fantastic dishes, and their guacamole is outstanding!

I had high hopes based on other reviews, but unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. The service was acceptable but not outstanding. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. It wasn't even during a busy time; there were only one or two other tables occupied.

Okay, I like agave maria’s and I feel like so many people have not given it a try possibly for the same reasons I don’t first. I really took it, it was a white wash 3 stars restaurant on the basis of the name previous eat here....and while it white wash Mexican cuisine (in the best suitable and forgiven wise,) it is also just really humbly delicious eating, with a beautiful atmosphere that I am now connected to this place. the decor is super sweet and welcoming. it fits the bill. super casual but also only good Mexican restaurant vibes! they have a beautiful terrace that id very recommend to get a place outside to enjoy the brisk or a sunny afternoon with a margarita. apropos margaritas, they are murderers! they have an ojai pixie margarita here. must I say more?! it is delicious and a fun taste with local roots. the service can be a small hit or miss. So you're going down a star. to the greatest part but everyone was always beautiful and super friendly. there are always friendly faces and people are really simply nice who work here. the half of the time can feel however as if eating or service is somewhat slow. once it was a personal problem that we liked because the personal that worked, drove his back. another time, the younger child seemed to move only in a screw step when it came to check refill or to handle, but again, he was so beautiful! I would say more often, then no service is good and always friendly, but enough slower experiences to know, I can probably not eat lunch in experience here to then work on the time. food favorites suggestions: the wings at agaves are some of the best I ever had! I know I can't judge, but you'll swear to them when you try them out! yes I am the girl whose favorite dish is chicken wings in a Mexican restaurant...what can I say. they are simply perfect crispy the classic rich buffalo sauce always meets the point and they have the good ranch here! trust me. albondigas suppe is also a must. I am a bit suppenschnob, especially when it comes to my albondigas, but they deliver here and it tastes like a warm bowl comfort every time I order it. flavorful broth and a delicious meatball. they win in my books.

Tanner our server was friendly and attentive. Dined outside on covered patio. Duo singing was nice background music. Guacamole was great but the large was too much for 4 people. small dinner salad was nothing special. Chili Relleno burrito was huge and not spicy enough for hubby's taste. Carnitas taco shell was burnt and meat was basically roast pork. Cheese enchilada, refried beans, and rice were good. They've increased their wine selection which was a pleasant surprise.
