Mastro's Steakhouse Thousand Oaks

The food was overcooked and the butter cake was extremely dry. The service was excellent, but the overall dining experience was a major letdown.

The staff at Mastros are very attentive and our server provided great recommendations. I am a loyal customer and always enjoy dining here!

Mastros is a throwback to a time when the staff genuinely cared to learn your name and your preferences. They greet you by name and remember your favorite table. This classic steakhouse exudes sophistication and makes you feel elegant.

Been here numerous times. Service has never been an issue prior. Reservations for 2 longer than normal wait. Tried to seat us at next to piano, which was a request not to do when reservation was made. Asked for a different table two others were being cleared. Said those were already reserved. My lady went to use the restroom as they seated me at a table on the dinning area. I was told to have a seat they would see her ans escort her to the table. They said nothing to her as all three were talking she had to ask they seemed annoyed with her. Once seated it was another 10 mins before we were greeted. We were there for drinks and dessert, service was very slow and I had to ask three different people for the check. then had to find the waiter to get change. I really hope this was a one off, time will tell.

Crab legs were expensive and very small. Shifted wait staff in the middle of our dinner. Creamed corn was cold.
