Tom and I attended their New Year's Eve celebration, and we had a fantastic evening. The music was at a perfect volume, and the atmosphere wasn't overly crowded. The food was very good, and the drinks kept coming—no complaints from us! We do miss little Sarah in Woodbine, but we’ll make sure to visit her whenever we can! - Tom and Wanda

The night before, we had fish and chips in... read more The Three Crowns is our favorite pub in all of Calgary. We visited again last night on our way back from the airport. The night before, we had fish and chips in Windsor, Nova Scotia, and decided to order it again at Three Crowns. It offers the best value for fish and chips in Calgary, and it was ten times better than what we had in Nova Scotia. My wife particularly loves the burgers and pizza; she compares every burger she tries around the world to those at Three Crowns. The staff is fantastic, and Neil is exceptional—truly skilled at what he does. They even know how we like our food before we ask! Wendy and Charlie.

A nice little pub. gf and I thought we would check it out when we drove by it. ordered a starter of pot stickers and we were impressed. flavorful and fresh ingredients were used here for sure. The sauce was a sweet chilli sauce. Not a huge fan of the sauce but thats just personal preference. It was still good but would have been better if a combination of dipping sauces were available. Then we shared a pizza. i really enjoyed it. if you are a pizza buff then this will make you happy. the crust had a very unique texture to it (almost like a ciabatta bread) sauce was tangy and fresh and lots of cheese and toppings. we'll definitely be going back here to try some more menu items. the renos they did to the old closed down pub are nice and gives the pub a nice new look. only thing I thought could be improved was the old washrooms. they are in need of an update for sure.
