Really awesome Pho on Macleod trail. I like that they give you jalapeños in addition to the regular bean sprouts/basil. Service was good. Lots of meat in the Pho dac biet which was great! The bun bo hue was just ok. I'd recommend sticking to the Pho View all feedback.
What Katelyn Gerlach dislikes about Pho Chu:
House Special Beef Noodle Soup with Combo Beef XL size and I wasn't the biggest fan of the broth, it seemed like it was on the weaker side but the portion sizes for both the pho and the bun was decent. The salad rolls aren't...really worth it, I ordered the shrimp salad roll for $7.50 and got 3 halved shrimps in the roll. Only stumbled across this place because it was across from our hotel we were staying at View all feedback.

The broth in their pho is quite good The vermicelli bowls were HUGE The service was actually very good compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.
My favorite pho place in Calgary. I always get the beef stew and the beef is always perfectly cooked and tender. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
I’ve been coming to Pho Chu The for years, and it’s still one of my favorites and go-to pho spots in Calgary. The broth is clean and flavorful, and the noodles are silky and satisfying. Lately though, the meat-to-noodle ratio has been inconsistent. The large size just feels like extra noodles without more meat, and when I ordered a regular with extra meat, it seemed like only a couple of extra pieces were added despite the charge. For a place that’s always been on the pricier side, the taste used to justify it — but the imbalance is becoming noticeable. Still considered one of my favorites, but I’m getting tired of the inconsistency and will likely explore other options too. Delicious food, and the petite, pretty waitress is very sweet. I really like the Vietnamese egg pancake here — it’s very tasty. The prices are reasonable. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
