Pistachio Paris-Brest and many other delicious treats can be found at a restaurant in Shanghai called Ma Tatin. It used to be my go-to spot for desserts and baked goods, but now that I'm back in Calgary, I was on the lookout for a similar place. I am thrilled that I came across this place on Instagram. Used to be our “go to” patisserie in Calgary, for the exceptional European quality and great ingredients. Even though it doesn’t taste the same, pastry isn’t flaky and crunchy (from freshness and technique anymore and it’s quite dry. Prices, portions and quality has changed.
