Taco Time - Calgary
Taco Time
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews on their menu items, with some patrons experiencing illness after eating, while others found the food satisfactory. The service staff was friendly and accommodating. One reviewer noted that the Fish Tacos, despite being served cold in most restaurants, were made fresh to order at Taco Time. Overall, the restaurant seems to have room for improvement in terms of food quality and service, but may be worth a visit for their freshly made Fish Tacos.

I was in a hurry and now paid for it in the run's to the bathroom. The lettuce was old as the clerk took out as much as she can and looked my way to see if I was watching, and when I wasn't I'd forgot to inform her and got sick 2 hours after I ate the soft taco's (3) of them. Guess it's my fault as I'd should have told them people that we don't serve rotten lettuce in Canada like they do in China. Just sayin
The meat tacos are just OK although the toppings were very fresh. We also had the clumpy fries, like small balls of hash browns (not that impressive). The service staff were friendly!
I eat Fish Tacos in restsurants alot. And by the time they get to my table the fish is cold but flavour pretty good. At Taco Time although its not a sit down type of restaurant, the Fish Tacos are made when you order them
The meat tacos were satisfactory, but the toppings were incredibly fresh. We also tried the lumpy pommes, which were similar to small hash brown balls (not very impressive). The service from the staff was friendly and welcoming.
I tried the Fish Tacos at Residual Insurance and found that while the fish was cold when they arrived at my table, they still tasted pretty good. However, at Taco Time, even though it is not a sit-down restaurant, the Fish Tacos are made fresh to order and served piping hot with a generous amount of sauce.
