I usually have great experiences at Subway, but today was quite different. I ordered two subs and planned to use a coupon. I specifically asked the staff member to toast only one of the subs. She called me to the counter to scan my coupon, so I didn't see her put the sandwiches in the oven. When she took them out, I realized she had toasted both and mentioned this to her. That’s when she became defensive and started guilt-tripping me about wasting food by asking her to remake it. She even tried to charge me for toppings that I know don’t have an extra cost. Overall, it was an unexpected and unnecessary confrontation that could have been easily avoided if she had listened carefully or simply done her job.
I just ordered from this restaurant 30 minutes ago, and I have to say, the older Filipino lady was incredibly rude. I can't believe it – she's going to drive away a lot of customers. I ordered a 6-inch chicken sub, and she threw on a handful of onions mixed with other vegetables without flipping the line. When I walked in, she didn't greet me at all; it was just, "What do you want?" I definitely won't be coming back here. If you're reading this, believe the reviews – the staff can be quite rude, and their lines aren't properly organized. I asked for lettuce and got a mix of spinach instead. Plus, the onions weren't chopped properly, and I had to throw away three large chunks of red onion.
After paying in cash, we asked for the bill, but she didn’t give it to us right away. When we finally received the bill, we noticed that we were charged for two portions of smashed avocado. When we brought this up, she claimed there was no option for that. Seriously? She was defensive and refused to acknowledge that she was overcharging us. In the end, she returned our $2, but her manner was quite aggressive. Additionally, many ingredients were not displayed, and they only produced them after we specifically asked for them. It’s not about the money; it's about ethics. I refuse to pay someone who tries to deceive me.
I work close to here and come here frequently for my break and I had a buy one footlong get one 50 percent off coupon and after I made the sandwiches the wemon working wouldn’t accept it. What’s the point of giving us coupons? Literally tried to charge me for as much as possible. Unfortunately bad service
I second the review of the previous customer. I went to subway on my way home after a busy day… I asked to use the washroom prior to ordering and the lady behind the counter was very RUDE. LIKE BEYOND…. Unreasonable to deny a human basic bodily functions. Not to mention I was about to make an order for my entire family so, it would have been a lengthy process. I WILL NEVER RETURN. I asked for her name and her managers phone number she denied to provide either. However, I will be reporting her either way. Unbelievably rude and distasteful to deny any human being common courtesy of using the washroom prior to ordering!!!
