Well they did it again they cut 20% of best part of ribs off and same price. Prices are going up again. Buy only what you need u til they get the message... Newer post: They have a trally nice cooked side of ribs however they now have cut the quantity of ribs almost almost half and cost the same. Dont buy till tbey change. If you look at their cookies for example made on site price seems OK, but if you divide the number of cookies against the price they cpme out a tad above or below a dollar per cookie. So taking that into account and looking thru the store their high. Our best bet is to buy as little as we can no matter how much they lower prices until they see we are not buying unless it is reasonable. Not just here but Every where. Not really changed but be very careful that people who were raised outside of North America sample all fruits so if package is open or missing fruit do not buy for your own healrh. No change. And frozen fruits just as bad. They had a small container of blueberries that was fresh and only $2.38 now over $5 dollars. Blue berries use to be $10 for big bag now $16 plus. Well back on the blue berries fresh beginning of week $6 each now 2-$4 so what's their profit margin. Prices still high. Top high snd berties are sour.....yuk

I just needed to share my experience with Sobey 's last night. Dropped in to grab quick sandwich fixings. Hubby had craving for egg salad, and I was out of eggs. I headed into the section that usually has the small tubs of ready made salads, but couldn 't find it. Hubby had said he didn 't want the 'potatoes and eggs ' salad. I wasn 't looking forward to the time involved in making it from scratch, so I asked a lady over in the Deli area if they had any egg salad anywhere. Pam, from Deli, was so helpful and cheerfully brought me over to another section where, thankfully, they did have a couple of egg salad sandwiches! I also needed some Montreal smoked meat, and asked Pam if it was on sale. She confirmed that, yes, it was on sale and promptly filled my order. Pam was very pleasant and friendly throughout the transaction and I was impressed how easily and comfortably she dealt with her customers. She mentioned that there was a special, that if I bought over $16, I 'd be able to save more. I had been undecided about getting some roast beef, and promptly took advantage of this offer! What made this different from ordinary ' upselling ' in stores, is how easily Pam 's conversation and manner made me feel that her suggestions were made by someone who cared about her clients. I hope that Sobey 's shows their appreciation for workers like Pam!
