River Café - Calgary

She was looking forward to the great building and the high call this place. you have to say it was very disappointing. some of our dishes were extremely salty, and my colleagues couldn't finish them. The Sommelier/Manager was very grumpy, always seemed unhappy,...and recommended some very poor wee (unusual decision from all of us.) overall it was very average and not worth the price.

Had a wonderful dinner in late autumn on the terrace. the menu is very curated, so check the selections before they go, but everything was carefully prepared and service was on point. the environment in the middle of the island park of the city reminded me of...On the green, but intimate and without the tourism drong. not skip dessert.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and ended twice in two days as it was so good. the locally produced eating is really exceptional, and the service was attentive while not overlaid. the local oysters were absolutely delicious and the wild boar...belly lovely. the extensive wine list is impressive, although no champagne in the French champagne section! that is really a great fund in a beautiful park location, a moment away from the city. highly recommended.

Came here to the brunch and ordered her charcuterie board and eier benny. the service was so slow, it took them over an hour to serve our breakfast and it was just okay. I had much better eier benny and Charcuterie board in other restaurants for. much less price. not impressed. but I give them recognition for the ambiente.

Can’t believe I ordered a 35$-40$ bucks dish and that’s what I got. The portion is extremely small. Just not sure why this price, taste was not the best either. so disappointed! Don’t think I will come back again.
