Feedback
Well the positives were the food prices were quite reasonable and the service was excellent. It is a big restaurant, clean. The negatives were the pho beef soup - with tripes was below average. The broth was not flavorful, and the well done beef was not tasty. The imperial rolls were crispy and flavorful, good. The salad rolls (fresh) were below average.Overall not a negative experience but the food was average at best
I figured paying a little extra for good Vietnamese would be worth it but the pho I ordered was terrible. Had I eaten in the restaurant I would have sent it back. When I complained her reaction was humorous in that she was so disinterested and incapable of managing my complaint.
I ate lunch at this restaurant at lunch with a small group of friends. It is conveniently located within walking distance of MRU on 37th Street, tucked away behind the Starbucks in a strip mall. I had the seafood satay soup (#15) and it came steaming hot in short order. The bowl was huge, the food fresh and the flavour tasty. The price was $11.95 which was reasonable and comparable to other Vietnamese Pho places in Calgary. My friends had a selection of other dishes, and all of us were quite pleased with our meals. One of our party is a regular at this restaurant because he likes it so much. I will certainly return, likely on a regular basis as the restaurant is also within in close proximity to where I work (Westmount Corporate Campus).
First dinner in Calgary, No.4 beef pho is pretty good, pork spring roll tastes good as well. The vietnamese tea is bit sweet, tasty : Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20
