I ate lunch at this restaurant at lunch with a small group of friends. It is conveniently located within walking distance of MRU on 37th Street, tucked away behind the Starbucks in a strip mall. I had the seafood satay soup (#15) and it came steaming hot in short order. The bowl was huge, the food fresh and the flavour tasty. The price was $11.95 which was reasonable and comparable to other Vietnamese Pho places in C... View all feedback.

Well the positives were the food prices were quite reasonable and the service was excellent. It is a big restaurant, clean. The negatives were the pho beef soup - with tripes was below average. The broth was not flavorful, and the well done beef was not tasty. The imperial rolls were crispy and flavorful, good. The salad rolls (fresh) were below average.Overall not a negative experience but the food was average at bes... View all feedback.
It is inflamed to find this rest open on Monday when many calgary restaurants are closed. my bark soup was fresh as the brokkoli in my companion was the fried bark. also the washrooms were clean and have paper towel! my only disappointment was the slow service. during our visit dozens of skip the dishes suppliers came in and out. their commands seemed predominant before ours. not clear why the orders are processed in advance personally?
Great tasting Vietnamese food. many to choose, we really enjoy the combos, all. Their spicy sauce is very hot what I really enjoy.
A great small place for fast Vietnamese eating. always great staff. reasonable prices. all employees are very happy to see them.
I am currently at the mount royal university and have been regularly at pho express for almost years. the service is fast, and the personal knows my order in the heart! I always command the fried black feather rolls vermicelli bowls, with a side of sate (chilli paste). for all those who love spicy food, there is something in this rich its so good and spicy!
If you are a pho go-getter this is not your place, it left quite a bitter taste in my mouth and the noodles were too mushy. There are way better places for a bowl of salty goodness even within walking distance. However, their subs are...pretty top-notch. Over all, I'll never eat their Pho again, but would stop by for a sub.
