Jerusalem Shawarma - Calgary

We stopped by to try the chicken shawarma and it was in deed tasty thought pricy compared to a local spot in our area..still a good find

Food is good. I guess I would have to say it's a good place to eat and food is as expected. Food is fresh. I come here often

We first visited Jerusalem shawarma when it was a newly opened joint in NW area. And now after barely 3 years they have expanded to 5 more venues. A true testament to how good their food is!Must try are the shawarma wraps. They're petty big and could be shared (if you are not too hungry). The guys behind the counter are some of the friendliest people you will encounter. Give them a smile and they will return that to you will genuine warmth.

Having never experienced Shawarma - I would often drive by the Royal Oak location, see the line-ups and wonder why. So one Wednesday night - I took the plunge! I chose the Chicken Shawarma wrap and was "enWRAPTURED". The chicken was beautifully seasoned and the accompaniments were excellent - I would especially recommend the pickles! I purchased a medium wrap which was enough for supper and lunch the next day! The roast potatoes seemed to be a big hit and customers were leaving with huge platters of them!The staff were very helpful and, dare I say, enthusiastic! A pleasant change from the bored, lethargic employees at other establishments that shall remain nameless...I shall return.

Delicious moist chicken platter with the creamiest hummus! Fresh fattoush salad, excellent roast potatoes and very garlicky tzatsiki. Great value, for large portion.
