Sometimes when a restaurant is too close to home it is overlooked. Everytime i have gone to Bazille-Nordstums i am reminded how tasty and yummy their offerings are. I have had their version of a club house and have been surprised how fresh the veggies ( green beans) tasted in the clubhouse.I am not sre where they get their bread but it actually tasted healthy . The bread wad some kind of whole wheat.I also went there for brunch and my omlette was huge and tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. Feast for the senses.Would I go again? Yes!The atmosphere is like a classy cafeteria. I like decore that has natural wood. There is a lot of light, a lot of noise and a lot of attentive waiters who appear to enjoy their work. KUDOS to the human resource team on their selection criteria.Nice place for a fast or lazy lunch.

It is an awesome place to enjoy a quiet healthy lunch. The staff is very friendly and love the setting with big big windows brings in nature light. The seating is very comfortable and very clean and all their food is healthy great for dieters and in the menu it shows the calories in each dish so a customer really knows what he or she is having. Plus it s cool to have a place right in Nordstrom dept store and there are not too many restaurants in dept. store these days. I really do suggest anyone who wants a friendly, quiet and lots of natural light for lunch to come to this place.

This place sucks, I can't believe it has good reviews. The decor is terrible considering how new it is and that it's in a high end store. I had a Niçoise salad which was decent (in fact amazing if I was at a truck stop) but for $20 none of it was worth it. Better off going to any other restaurant in the mall. Won't go back

Stopped in while shopping at Chinook.What an experience, we were lucky enough to have a waitress that really liked her job. (Sam)This was our first time here, and believe me it won't be our last. I asked Sam to recommend between 3 items and she sold me on the beef dip, and boy was she right, it is the best beef dip in the city. Both my wife and I started with the tomato soup, and my wife had a salad with a lot of fruit in it and it both meals were fantastic.We truly enjoyed ourselves, and I must say Sam was one of the best.I really recommend this restaurant while shopping at Chinook.

First, this is a nice restaurant located within Nordstroms in the Chinook Centre. We went there for mother's day. The food for the wife and I was really excellent. However, the choice for the children was limited. Of the four choices only one had any meat in it and that was fried chicken. The other choices were grilled cheese, mac and cheese and pasta/tomato sauce. I wasn't really impressed by this. The kids menu also had a reminder about the importance of nutrition for children; a bit ironic. On the plus side, the service was really good indeed. The ambience was fine, although they do the traditional thing of having a massive tv screen over the bar, which I find takes away the edge. All in all and average experience.
