Description
Bazille, located inside Nordstrom at Chinook Centre, offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. Despite excellent food for adults, the children's menu lacks variety with limited meat options. Service is highlighted as exceptional by some but others report poor service and mediocre food. Ambience receives mixed reviews. Many appreciate the pleasant setting, while others find the decor disappointing. Overall, the restaurant offers a decent dining experience but falls short in certain aspects. Constant refills of filtered water and great service from servers like Peggy make Bazille a worthwhile visit, especially if looking for quality food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Sometimes when a restaurant is too close to home it is overlooked. Everytime i have gone to Bazille-Nordstums i am reminded how tasty and yummy their offerings are. I have had their version of a club house and have been surprised how fresh the veggies ( green beans) tasted in the clubhouse.I am not sre where they get their bread but it actually tasted healthy . The bread wad some kind of whole wheat.I also went there for brunch and my omlette was huge and tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. Feast for the senses.Would I go again? Yes!The atmosphere is like a classy cafeteria. I like decore that has natural wood. There is a lot of light, a lot of noise and a lot of attentive waiters who appear to enjoy their work. KUDOS to the human resource team on their selection criteria.Nice place for a fast or lazy lunch.
Tried this instore restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and efficient. The menu had a large selection with a variety of price points! We ordered the Crab macaroni and cheese and the Coque Madame. Both were wonderful...and they even brought plates for sharing! There seems to be a choice for even the mostbpicky eater on their menu! Served piping hot and priced fairly. Note: make a reservation if you want to be assurred of a seat and be prepared..it gets real noisy!
This place sucks, I can't believe it has good reviews. The decor is terrible considering how new it is and that it's in a high end store. I had a Niçoise salad which was decent (in fact amazing if I was at a truck stop) but for $20 none of it was worth it. Better off going to any other restaurant in the mall. Won't go back
My wife, another couple, and I recently dined at this restaurant. I had never been before, but had heard good things. It is a classy restaurant located in a pricey area. The prices at the restaurant were also quite high. I had originally planned to order the Halibut and chips, but ended up going with the Steak selection priced at $22.50. The sides and salads that came with the meal were delicious, the steak was a good size and cooked perfectly to my liking. However, even though it tasted great, it was tough and difficult to chew. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my meal. The service was good and the waiter was very helpful. I will have to carefully consider whether or not I would return to this restaurant.
I have been to this restaurant many times before, but after today's experience, I am unsure if I will return. The service was incredibly poor, especially considering there were more staff members than customers when we arrived at 2 pm. Despite the majority of tables being empty, many of them had not been cleared. My party of two had to wait 15 minutes for a table to be cleared and then waited almost 20 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge us. It took an additional 5 minutes to get water. We both ordered the French Onion soup, which was served hot but was quite mediocre. The overall appearance of the restaurant was shabby and not up to the standards I would expect from a restaurant associated with Nordstrom. I left feeling very disappointed.
