Good food, service and price ...and that's all you need! None of that frilly foo foo shizzazle. If you want that get some tight jeans and some pretientious friends and wait 1 hour in line for breakfast at an overpriced diner. View all feedback.
What Michaelle Gering doesn't like about Deerhead Cafe:
My friend and I tired the Deerhead cafe after hearing so many great things about this place. There really is nothing better than those out of the way, greasy spoon places. The food was great and the service was great also. This restaurant is terribly dirty. I totally love the retro vibe, but the sun shining on the 1960's wood paneling showed nothing but disgusting dirt and grime. Found an ant crawling on our table. C... View all feedback.
This is a little treasure. I was put off by the number of reviews focusing on 'dirty ' but this place is clean. It 's just worn and comfy like an old sweater and that 's part of the charm. Breakfast was fast and a genuine home-style diner. Service was friendly. Give it a try.
Do not let the exterior turn you away! This place is fantastic! I work very close to The Deerhead and I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ever gotten. The breakfasts are simple but perfectly executed and all the lunch items are varied and delicious!

Our new favorite spot!. Our frist time there was exactly how I pictured it based on the reviews I read,it was exactly what I was looking for! I love the décor and small town diner feel. Reminded me of childhood days growing up in small town New Brunswick. Very nice staff and everyone is friendly.
13 years I have go e to this place. Calgary's BEST greasy spoon. I only eat breakfast here. Nice family business. Someone needs to nominate them for a restaurant make over. Love the front door.
