It was advertised as having crispy, spicy pulled chicken, but what I got were small, unseasoned pieces of chicken that lacked any crispiness. The biscuit was a bit salty, perhaps to compensate for the overall lack of flavor in the dish. Additionally, the portion of potatoes was on the small side. On the bright side, my interaction with the cashier during pickup was pleasant.

I don’t know if it’s always like this or if someone accidentally dumped a box of salt on my order, but it was overwhelmingly salty to the point of being inedible. Fried chicken is usually hard to get wrong, but this was simply unmanageable. I took a second bite but couldn’t even swallow it and had to spit it out.

This morning, I tried their avocado toast, and it was equally top-notch. If you're in the East Village, be sure to stop by! As for kid-friendliness, this place is definitely a hit with children!
