Was User at Charbar a mag?
Arrived early and we were seated on the patio for cocktails while our table was getting prepared. We decided to enjoy appetisers which were incredible and unique. My favourite was the avocado toast with pistachios. Delicious. The waitress was honest and attentive. The front end staff could be more light hearted they were so serious. Desserts were amazing but you couldn't get a cappuccino after ten which was upsetting... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Charbar:
Unfortunately the food was so expensive for the amount that the serve. The only good thing the hamburger. But that plus a pizza 4 drinks and a 4 pieces of beef and 2 scrambled eggs for $200 dollars. Not acceptable. Also the next day the cheese on the pizza was moldy. View all feedback.
My wife and I were excited to try out the Rooftop Bar @ Simmons but we unfortunately never got the chance. When we got to the Simmons building, we made our way to the patio. There appeared to be many open seats. The hostess asked us if we were looking for a table for two and we replied yes. She then asked us if we had received a text. I told her that we had not and she informed us that we needed to return to the main level and check in. We proceeded back to the main level and checked in with the people in the lobby. They asked me for my cell number and told me I would get a text when a table was ready. I asked how long the wait might be and she said it would likely be over an hour. I was a bit shocked about this as I had been on the patio and there appeared to be many available tables. Not wanting to wait for over an hour my wife and I got an Uber and went to Cannibale in Bridgeland (EXCELLENT SPOT BTW). About 10 min after we had left, I received a text telling me that the table was ready. Not sure if it was a lack of communication between the patio and the main level but it was not a great experience for us, and I don't think I would go back.

Food was excellent, service could be improved. I booked a reservation for my wife's birthday and told them that during the booking process. Had to remind them after desert was delivered. Also would liked to have a little more time to enjoy the food between courses. Either then that everything else was excellent.
The whole crew was terrific service. Hosting station to servers(Natasha) and kitchen staff. Took care of allergies, wonderful suggestions and knowledge of menu, including wines was great. Charred Napa Cabbage salad, Tableside Ceviche Mixto(Jessica made it thx), Beef Butcher Steak New York Strip. Chimichurri sauce fantastic. We were watching many other tables and it seemed like full enjoyment from them too. Give this place a try. I think you'll come back again and again.
