We were headed for a nearby restaurant, but there was a big lineup, it being their Tuesday Pasta Special night, which we had forgotten about. Lineups aren't for us, so we walked to the Broken Plate, and to our surprise, they were having $12 pasta night too! Yay! Our pastas were delicious, especially the ones with mussels. The calamari appetizer was an great bite for the 4 of us. Our server was very friendly, but maybe a bit inexperienced. One of us had ordered the squash pasta, but got mussels instead, which she accepted and was very happy she did. The food is great here anytime, but what a bonus to have a break on the wallet for $12 pasta night on Tuesday!

Food just perfect: from timing, portion size, temperature and most importantly, exquisite flavour in all courses. Favourite is moussaka -done best I've ever eaten. Normally my critiques NEVER are worthy of 5 stars, but this location of Broken Plate deserves accolades. Obviously well managed.

Our Asian waiter, whose name I unfortunately can't recall, was fantastic and very courteous, taking the time to explain the menu to me and providing excellent service. I will definitely be returning sometime soon to try out more of the dishes. Thank you!
