I am from Vancouver Island, visited Anejo’s with a friend last summer and absolutely had to share the fantastic food with friends and family on a return trip. Highly recommended, great cocktails, guacamole and food overall View all feedback.
What PamelaB doesn't like about Anejo Restaurant:
The menu at this restaurant is not only limited but also overrated and disappointing. With the abundance of Mexican options in the city, this one falls short in terms of quality and authenticity. The banquet seating is outdated and the tables are too small. The only recommendation would be to enjoy drinks on the patio during the summer, but otherwise, it's best to dine elsewhere. Eating was tasty and the filling made for a good one. the margaritas were also kreatiw and tasteful. our waiting staff was very attentive and friendly. this is a great place for happy hour snacks and drinks.
I love anejo! I've been a couple of times now and it's great every time, the pig tacos are amazing and loaded! the guacamole bowl is so fresh, I love that they mix it right in front of them! super outgoing employees, very bubbles and enjoy entertainment! Mango-Margs and pig-tacos are my top picks!
The half-priced hour is great, and the mood is great. the place is always flowering, and the tequila flows freely. eating is quite good, and the margaritas are also beautiful. the server can sometimes be a bit pretentious, especially when they ask for kal, not everyone loves tequila. overall, good ambiente and decent eating.
After a long 12hour day at work I ordered food to take home and eat my first meal of the day and opened my food to this… a burnt steak. I was so disappointed. first time ordering from here and none of the food looked appetizing. the price i paid for (just two meals) cost me around $70 and the food did not anywhere nearly match the expected quality for that price point. tried calling back 4 times and got no answer- gave up and decided to write a review instead. don’t order from here!
OMG! The food was great. The soup, though, was luke warm. The meal was perfect. However, the service was beyond awful. Slow service for everything. We got there at 2:05 and got out at 4:30. Luckily we were talking and having a good time. Oh, big mistake to split the check. That took another 23 minutes. There were 5 tables that were being used. Like six servers and that was it. Um, never again!
