The new look is much... read more This place used to be a favorite of ours for Sunday brunch. We knew it had been sold and renovated, so we decided to check it out recently. The new look is much nicer than before, but the service was lacking on the Sunday we visited. Only two servers were working without a manager, and they seemed overwhelmed. Although the coffee was good, waiting 55 minutes for a refill was too long. The menu was impressive, but our favorite hamburger steak was missing. The breakfast items we ordered were fine, but it was hard to enjoy them without a timely coffee refill. When I asked for a refill, the waitress at our table twice shot me down without a smile. The lack of staff also meant that the bathrooms were in poor condition. Despite the good food, we are unlikely to return anytime soon.

Our group of six each ordered different meals, and we were all impressed by the generous portions and perfect cooking. After reading some negative reviews, I was a bit concerned about what to expect, but we had no complaints at all. The veggie burger was fantastic, the regular burger was also great, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was outstanding, and the veggie wraps were excellent as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Red Onion!
