As a cook, and connoisseur, of fine international food, I found El Compa Tacos Y Mariscos 605 N. 5. in Caldwell ID to be an excellent restaurant! It would be fair to say that it is so good or better than most Mexican restaurants from San Diego south to the top of Baja. The selection of menus is amazing (unfortunately they have no fresh lobster or swordfish . Any choice that my family and I have chosen has always been great! We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed! I recommend the tacos for lunch. Make sure to get at least one of any kind of meat (tone, brain, carnitas, cheek, depends on availability; as in Mexico! The service is great, but sometimes due to its out-way location that leads to fluctuations in the customer can be supported. For quality, authenticity, taste, atmosphere, generosity and courtesy, MUY BUENO! cinco estrellas!!!!

Tacos Y Mariscos El Compa has over 70 delicious looking meals on the menu. It was hard to decide what to order. We have frogs and sops. Both were delicious. The chips and beans came with a very savory salsa that had a earthly freshness. This is the place to go if you want delicious food and margaritas. Ask the locals, you will find many of them.

We are staying at the Caldwell RV park and my wife wanted Mexican food. Based on reviews we tried El Compa and the food was great. They specialize in seafood and my shrimp Vallarta style was truly the best I ever had. Would definately recommend.
