Service exellent. Possibly over priced on drinks. However I expect rents will contribute to this factor, which isn't fair because everyone of us is picking up pieces from covid View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Wine Barrel:
The setting is great, the server polite, the ambience of the Piece Hall enspiring all this with one of the worse coffees ever! It was so weak I asked for another shot, it was brought back in record time and no better. View all feedback.
I visited with my husband yesterday (20 March). I'm dairy intolerant and the ladies helped me with suggestions as to what I can eat. I ordered a sandwich and there was some confusion over what I'd ordered. I sent the sandwich back as it wasn't right. Unfortunately it still wasn't right when it came back out again. My sandwich was made again, and it was fine. I got an apology (and a beautiful cake as an apology too). It was just a simple mistake, easily done, very enjoyable in the end. Thank you for sorting. Lovely treat from my niece for Mother’s Day. Took us to the deli and what a lovely place, lovely meal and wonderful cakes. Staff where really friendly and welcoming. Thank you. Will definitely recommend this place. Beautiful
Lovely spot, staff where friendly and very helpful. Food was really good and presentation looked beautiful. Chosen the Mother's day brunch menu. The Host really looked after us.
The location is beautiful in the newly restored Piece Hall. You have to queue up to place your order and although the staff are super friendly, the queue was glacially slow. It took almost 20 minutes just to let them know what I wanted (it was the third choice as the first two had run out)! Not a great customer experience unfortunately.
Clean, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Good food choice and drinks what’s not to like! Also sells treats and foody gifts to take away.
