perfect stop after the täler's up and down. dear vocation, so it was great to finally get into the hahnraum. good selection of beer. very dog friendly, probably one to float if they are not a dog person. the burgers of slap and pickle were super tasty although we enjoyed the riders especially, never experienced a better sauce ship! Unfortunately I haven't got anything good to say about Slap Pickle anymore... Used to enjoy eating at Vocation but the last couple of visits the burgers have gone down hill... There is no care taken in the creation of the food now... Dry, bland meat, soggy loaded fries... Its a real shame... Going to have to travel further afield for burgers now. View all feedback.

Traveled by gateshead and glad we did. bier was super, burger and loaded pommes were excellent and the service was friendly and fast. I cleaned a few doses after home, looking forward to them. hebdon bridge beautiful small town also. many bars, cafes and restaurants. will be back.
It is always a joy when I can go somewhere that makes good vegan food for me and meaty food for my partner. so it is especially when it is accompanied by amazing beer. yay vocation, thank you
Lovely beer, great food! Overall just a lovely place to be. I’m obsessed with the cheeseburger fries so if you’re visiting be sure to try them! The portions are huge too! Dog friendly as well, that’s always a bonus!!
We all enjoyed our beers in this tap room. Unfortunately we were near the table with the toddler smashing toys on the table repeatedly and lots of flies, there was no where else to sit! We didn’t get food so can’t comment. Beer was in great condition. Friendly bar staff too who had a little chat on.
