Sultan Mahal - Calderdale

Excellent experience. The staff were friendly and the food was served promptly. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were reasonable.

I went to the restaurant on Saturday and the food was amazing. The service and atmosphere were also great. I will definitely be visiting again.

I don't live nearby, so I don't have the opportunity to visit Sultan Mahal very frequently. However, I have friends who live in the area and have been meeting them here occasionally for the past 10 years. In my opinion (and that of my friends), Sultan Mahal has never failed to impress. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The food is consistently excellent, with some of the most delicious curry I've ever tasted. I highly recommend trying the Meat Thali. I appreciate that you can customize any curry to your liking, opting for mild, medium, or hot spiciness levels. They are even willing to accommodate requests for medium-hot if you're looking for something in between. One of my friends prefers extra coriander, while another likes his garlic naan extra crispy. The staff have always been happy to make these adjustments. Overall, Sultan Mahal is one of my top choices for dining out. I will definitely be coming back!

Starter was lovely chicken tikka and masala fish shared with my partner then we had chicken dopiaza one Asian style hot alone medium and garlic and coriander naan all of witch was lovely

Shocking… the ‘peshwari’ naan was a naan bread with only sugar on it!! the chicken dansak was just terrible… would not recommend . Avoid..
