I highly recommend Stretchgates Fish and Chips if you're looking for delicious fish and chips. The staff, especially the lovely lady behind the counter, is always friendly and welcoming. In my opinion, their quality and service surpasses that of other local fish and chip shops, including the one supposedly ranked as Calderdale's number one. Hadn’t tried Stretchgate until a couple months ago despite working very loc for over a year. Never really was a fish and chip fan (I know, blasphemous) until recently.
