Cinnamon Lounge - Calderdale

The restaurant overcooked some of my chicken, it was burnt. The service was slow and when the curry finally arrived, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the rice.

The food was tasteless and the service was extremely slow. We dined at the restaurant on Friday, October 13th, 2023 and ordered appetizers and main dishes. It took around an hour for our appetizers to arrive and our mixed platter was missing the Bhajis. I brought this to the attention of the staff when they cleared our plates, and they brought them out with the main courses. The main dishes all had a similar taste, and my Balti Matar Paneer, ordered spicy, contained too many onions and broccoli, very little paneer or peas, and lacked flavor. The naan bread was decent, however. We spent over 2.5 hours in the restaurant with only one round of drinks. All four of us were disappointed with our experience and have no plans to return.

I have made a return booking at this restaurant. The food is good and the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. It used to be within walking distance which was convenient. I now make a point to come back because we can always count on the quality.

Visited on a Friday evening just after 7pm. It took over 20 minutes for a drinks order to be taken and another 20 minutes for most of the drinks to arrive, the final drink was 10 mins later. The service was extremely slow throughout. When the mains arrived, one was wrong, one was missing. When the missing meal arrived it wasn’t what was ordered. Food was very average, service terrible

Enjoyed a take out from here last night. Went in and had a drink whilst it was prepared. Staff very friendly, reasonable prices and we really enjoyed our food. Would definitely return if we return to this area again.
