Nawab - Cairo

I have tried Indian food in India, but this was the first time I try it in Egypt. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast. The food was almost identical to the taste I had in India except for the paneer that was not that good and the masala chai was so sour we ended up returning it. We ordered the cream off palak soup which was really good, the shahi paneer but it wasn’t that good, the masala butter chicken and the lamb korma dilpasand and the aloo parantha and everything was tasty. Will go there again but hope they improve their chai and paneer.

Nawab was recommended to me by a dear friend, located in zamalek and here is how it happened. 1st place is really quiet, kozy, couches are really comfortable, staff is helpful they great you with a smile, helpful polite. We ordered their special tomato soap it is so delicious and not difficult with really special taste. We ordered to main dishes Chicken Masala Butter and the Chicken decay (medium wicy) Flavors were good and relative to the new Indian restaurants they are more authentic and conservative. Portions are good, we ordered the Briany rice with vegetables of taste and smell were great. Then we asked if they have dessert they recommended their special ice cream, which I did not understand first it was like a dice ice cream, I let it melt for a while, so I can eat it ... it was not the best, but if you like new flavors and try to go to eat something new for it. To summarize everything, I really enjoyed the taste of their food and their attitude as staff.

For whoever the Indian food finally loves here and it is delicious and full of flavors, but its parking is not so good because its in zamalek but still recommend!

This restaurant is excellent. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent; cozy, quiet and relaxed. The service is excellent; the gentlemen who served me were attentive and punctual, but relaxed and completely inconspicuous, well presented, curious and very helpful with recommendations of the dishes. It is a very inconspicuous place from the street, but the decision to go through these doors is one that is not regretted.
