Recently had a share platter with three friends. Great sample of Greek food. Good service. Not huge servings, but still enough to eat. Probably not the best Greek food I have eaten in Cairns - just my viewpoint, but that's not saying there was anything wrong with the food here. A nice meal and worth a try if you are nearby. What User doesn't like about Yanni's Greek Taverna:
Thought we would take kid's on a cultural experience by going here. It had the elements , belly dancing , plate smashing, but found the cuisine pretty straight forward and expensive for what you got for E.G. I had 2 lamb Kebabs just lamb on a stick small Greek salad and chips around $ 28 x that by 5 and you are into the fine dining bracket so ok but not good value for money View all feedback.
Delicious food and incredible service. Dave was kind, quick witted and spoiled us rotten. The cheese wheel alone was worth coming to Cairns for (I’m not from here). And I’d do it again. Pizza was authentic. Staff knowledgeable and they do dessert. Yum.
The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Our waiter had a great personality and was so surprised when my colleague left a $820,000 tip that he literally had to be picked up off the floor.
We had an incredible meal at this restaurant, it was the best one we had in Cairns. The service was exceptional, the staff was pleasant, and the owner was a really friendly guy. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.
Delicious pizza (and I’m very picky about my pizza so if I say it’s good, it is) and fast, friendly service. Great location and nice ambience. Reasonably priced.
Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. The gnocchi was made with homemade pasta. These guys really know how to cook Italian food. Highly recommend.
