Me and my husband tried the newly refurbished bar just over a month ago and now we are regular visitors. The food, drinks and service are excellent. We have been served and greeted by Tim on many of our visits and he is extremely friendly and welcoming. This bar has become a favourite. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try you will not be disappointed. View all feedback.
We were staying at the holiday inn and were absolutely blown away by how good the restaurant was. The menu was varied, and the quality of the food far exceeded the cost. The staff were wonderful too. We ended up skipping a couple of the restaurants we’d planned to go to during our visit, so we could eat here again. Really good value for money!
Called in tonight on the off chance we could get in. Warmly greeted and quickly found a table for two and welcomed. The menu was quite large offering a variety of Asian food. Our drink order was quickly delivered and after discussions with the waitress on the size of serves we decided to share an entree, noodle balls were divine. Then onto mains, Nonya Kapitan chicken curry was the best I have ever eaten. My husband had beef rendang which he thought fabulous. No room for desert. Service was excellent. Sadly our last night in Trinity Beach............hopefully we will be back next year and it will be our 1st port of call.
Staying at the Holiday Inn so decided have a quick dinner at the downstairs bar area. Reasonably priced. Quick service, nice setting and variety of seating. Just had the basic Parma and was quite nice. Service was quick friendly.
Locals, stayed for a night to get away. Ordered room service, ordered 3 kilpatrick oysters, chips and the lime salted calamari salad. Oysters were ok, chips were delicious. The biggest let down... well actually, for them.. embarrassment... was the salad, if thats what you would call it..I actually went to take a pic to show my partner (who 'd ducked out) and then thought, no I can 't even be bothered moving for it, I was that uninspired. It was literally 6 big pieces of heavily coated calamari curls, a ramekin of sauce and about 10 wilted and sad looking rocket leaves, 3 slices of chilli, half a charred lime and one thin wedge/slice of a half portioned red onion! That was the 'salad '. I 'm in restaurant management and I couldn 't imagine any self respecting chef letting a meal go out like that! It was late afternoon so maybe the chefs were on break and someone else stood in...? Who knows... One thing I discovered was the amazing flavour that is made by charring lime!! I think I 'm giving up on finding a hotel that has a decent restaurant attached to it!
Dined here twice in the wine bar whilst staying at the Harbourside, The Tapas platter is a particularly tasty treat and well worth a try. The food is very well prepared, presented, and good value.
