Great place for breakfast. You can choose from a menu for delicious plates and also from a delicious buffet with all the classic breakfast hot foods and pastries and Bircher muesli and yogurts, cold meats and juices, and fresh fruit. Dinner was a good experience. Beautifully presented with great tastes. We have the 50% off Accor dinner so it was reasonably priced but pricey otherwise. Lovely staff. Will absolutely return.
Consigliato!
Welcoming staff, awesome food, great atmosphere, comfortable seats, it's how it should be, I live in Palm Cove, and rarely go into Cairns, but they put Palm Cove restaurants to shame. It is nice to be treated like they want you to be there, the wait staff were impeccable, the food was divine, if you want a great night out, and you really enjoy tasty food, then this is where to go, thanks
Recently refurbished, the meals were, as always, incredibly delicious and well-presented (refer photos).Unfortunately last night the service was lacking - perhaps just an off-night.The pan seared Scallops were delicious and are a 'must have'.I had the Pork Belly Croquette (with whipped fetta, pickled radish, mango, macadamia, date chutney - per the menu) which, surprisingly, came in a bowl with a (not attractive) pink broth. But, absolutely delicious! Suggest you ask for a spoon though. There is almost nothing on the mains menu which is not great - so this time we chose the duck curry, eye fillet, pork belly and fish of the day.As always, each of these dishes were mouth-wateringly delicious. The duck curry is always a large meal and we all had a taste - wonderful blend of flavours. The eye fillet - you could have cut it with a spoon!- So delicious and cooked perfectly rare. There is an extensive wine list - some very much at the high end of the price range, but a wonderful NZ chard and Tassie riesling for less than $60 each were wonderful accompaniments. As noted, service was lacking, but, on this occasion, the food made up for it.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, catering for a wide range of tastes. BEST fresh pastries we've had in a hotel buffet! Fresh fruit slices - including pawpaw! One evening meal - duck curry, and salmon - was fine.
