Excellent chicken ramen bowls with decent broth. Chicken karage udon was the standout dish. The sushi is of a decent level also. Friendly host and overall very affordable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Zipang:
Good value traditional sushi not expensive fills the gap. The staff are very friendly and always and happy to help. The belt may look empty at times, but the menu is full and once you place your order it will be served fresh very quickly. If you like your Sushi or Japanese food, then give this place a crack. My daughter and I absolutely love Sushi Zipangs in Cairns! Their Chicken Bowl is the best we've ever tasted. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very welcoming! Definitely give it a try, you won't be let down!
Been going here for years, especially after a good cosplay meetup! They also do take away, which is great while I'm studying like 1 street over I can take my Ramen with me! MUST TRY THE RAMEN <3 ^ ^ -Also loving the new look, with banners and paint job :3
Best ramen we tried in ages! We had chicken ramen here and it was perfect! Most ramens in Sydney are either too salty or too oily but this place was nothing like that. <br/ A little bit pricier than Sydney but food in Cairns seem generally pricier than those in Sydney. But the portion was huge so that really made up for it! <br/ We also had salmon sashimi which was incredibly fresh and came in thick slices! <br/ My husband loves beef tataki and can be quite picky with them but he approved this one. We highly recommend this place for some good ramen and sashimi! <br/
Slightly overpriced. Went for lunch. Sashimi was adequate would have preferred it sliced more thinly but guess u get more fish? Beef tataki a bit on the tough side. Sushi was not bad but for what you pay some would consider it not worth it. u can get cheaper with competition fierce in cairns but not all places can sit at a table or have a big restaurant setting. Sushi paradise is more value for money but u more or less have to take away.On my second visit the sashimi was actually much better. Fresh Scallops were really nice. Octopus balls also quite good. Maybe they just need to improve consistency.
