Jamaica blue - Cairns

I was disappointed with my experience at Jamaica Blue in Cairns Central. I paid $30 for what should have been a pleasant breakfast, but the food did not match the description on the menu. My big breakfast came with simple toast instead of sourdough, a hash brown that was overcooked, a piece of tomato instead of cherry tomatoes, and barely cooked mushrooms. However, the most frustrating part was the lack of acknowledgment and inability of the staff to address the issue when calmly approached. The service was unresponsive and unapologetic. It was clear that both the chef and service assistants lacked the necessary skills and training to handle such situations. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.

Ordered 3 coffees, looking for extra hot, just came warm, man had cum with the smallest crug of milk ever and was an alpt room just trying to get more milk out of them, my touch with toast that I asked to be good...Kooked came with the ires on boiled toast on top, the toast soggy and the butter waiting for the since 15 min. No one had the power to come and tell him and ask him if he wanted something else, they just served him nothing! the superior did not want to know when we complained, so we are just left-- will never return. by the way, the restaurant was not busy!

The staff at Barista here are rude and have an air of arrogance. I have never been verbally confronted like I have with the female barista here. The food is overpriced and the drinks are not worth discussing given the unpleasant experiences.

The breakfast was enjoyable, the service was good and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is conveniently located in the main shopping center. I will definitely return.

Usually love coming this cafe, but not today. My scrambled eggs were rubbery and had an odd gray colour running through the centre of the egg mixture. I called the supervisor over, and she told me that the egg could have been off!! This is...not the kind of answer you expect from a supervisor, and absolutely no excuse for this to happen.....hence the negative review. I will never go back to this cafe ever again.
