We decided to stop by on our way back to Cairns before catching a late flight home. It was the best decision! We enjoyed breakfast with a koala, which was a hit with the kids. We decided to stop by on our way back to Cairns before catching a late flight home. It was the best decision! We enjoyed breakfast with a koala, which was a hit with the kids. There was no rush, no stress, just a fantastic experience. The staff here are wonderful, whether they're being hospitable or working with the animals, they really enhance the atmosphere of the place. The highlight of our day was the Croc Attack show. Matt was hilarious and did a great job handling the crocodile. Thanks to everyone, we had a fabulous time. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. and stayed until 4 p.m. It was a great day, thank you.
This restaurant offers a family-style dining experience with a diverse menu to choose from. The service was quick and efficient. While it may not be considered upscale dining, it is a comfortable and suitable setting for a meal.
During our stop at the Croc Retreat on the way to Cairns, we spent two hours watching crocodiles in the lagoon before enjoying a delicious lunch. The food was fantastic, particularly the fish and chips, paired with an ice-cold beer. The outdoor seating offered a great view while dining and was much more affordable compared to restaurants in the city.
This has been recommended to us to do, and we are really satisfied that we have done it. we have learned so much about snakes and crocodiles, which we would never have known. it is a great location with passionate, friendly and entertaining staff who made for a really...big day. recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Cairns area.
Food is quick and well cooked. Not a great variety for vegetarians. Drinks are expensive, coffee was great!
