I was invited by colleagues from Cagliari, and having checked with friends, heard the place was very old fashioned , but the kitchen, one of the best in town. Dinner was excellent, with typical dishes from Sardinia. Service very attentive. I was disappointed by the wine, given the reputation of local wines. There is a type of patio, not really eating outside, but nearly the same.

We stayed for just one night B B, we were really impressed with our room, amazing bathroom absolutely wonderful breakfast. The room was well decorated warm, absolutely spotlessly clean. We did not use wardrobe, draws etc as we were packed ready for a cruise. The lady on reception was very welcoming, friendly helpful answering all questions we had. We left our cases at Hotel Flora whilst on a walking tour of Cagliari. The bathroom was equipped with an amazing steam multijet shower, which would be great if you were a technically minded person, however we are not however appreciated the nice quality toiletries supplied. Beds were very comfortable we had a good nights sleep. The hotel is quite close to the train station, which is the most cost effective way to get to Cagliari city from the airport. Breakfast was a laid out over 3 tables....meats, breads, cakes, yoghurts, hot breakfast juices. Just about every breakfast type known to man. Coffee was served by a very well dressed pleasant waiter, which was lovely in this day age of the 'dog rough ' coffee monster machine. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel, free WiFi much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this establishment for a longer stay, which I hope I will be doing in the near future.
