However, the food was un... read more If you're looking to catch up with friends in a cozy atmosphere, this place is suitable. The decor is nice and the service is adequate. However, the food was underwhelming. While the presentation was fancy, there was little substance in the dishes. My sandwich tasted like it could have been made with cheap supermarket bread. On the positive side, the gift shop downstairs is worth checking out.

They offer homemade soups, tasty sandwiches, and toasties all served with a side salad and coleslaw. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I am a frequent visitor to this lovely establishment.

When I visit from Surrey I tend to visit... read more This is my favourite little coffee shop in the whole of Caerphilly. It has such a lovely character and friendly staff. When I visit from Surrey I tend to visit everyday. The food is reasonable priced and I love how the coffee comes with a little biscuit. In addition the staff are so accommodating, when my daughter was sick in the cafe they let my partner change her in the staff toilets. In addition, I lost my purse and they kept it and contacted me to tell me they found which was a great relief.

They stock beautiful cards gifts as well as ranges like Nomination Kath Kitson. Tables are available downstairs in a mezzanine level above serving light bites from tea, toast a poached egg to full on afternoon tea (pre booking required for the afternoon tea).
