After being told over and over again our food was ‘on its way’, ‘was next’ and ‘was in the lift’, we waited a further 15 mins before seeing a deliveroo delivery heading out of the kitchen. Deliveroo was clearly prioritised and we were constantly being lied too. Can’t comment on the food as we never received it. When asked for a refund, they were incapable of refunding onto our card, so we’re given 8pound cash, when our meals were over 20 pounds. We had to do the maths for them so could refund properly. 2 other tables also complained, 1 also requesting a refund, which took a while. And to top things off there was no loo roll in the toilets. Wouldn’t go back, EVER.

The decor is a bit tired but it... read more Located in the heart of Caerphilly town the King's is a great pub to watch sport at, there are plenty of TV's and a big screen. The decor is a bit tired but it adds to the character of the pub as a whole, the staff are friendly and the food is decent, though the menu isn't the most extensive.

Staff have a clear attitude problem, my friend got assaulted in there last night and all the woman did was shout in her face and tell her to get out. No action taken against the boy whatsoever. Never returning to this establishment again. Appalling service!

The fo... read more This is a welcoming pub that attracts a lot of locals. We stopped by on a Thursday evening and found plenty of football games playing on various screens. The food was tasty, and the staff were very friendly.
