The set lunches were excellent the prices reasonable. There were also good a la carte choices. We sat on the lovely terrace. The trick to not have to pay for water is to ask for a carafe. One of my dining companions had duck...and I had fish. Both were very good as well as were the included desserts (several selections from which to choose).. View all feedback.
What Raymond Begue doesn't like about La Terrasse:
petit endroit où il est possible de trouver de quoi satisfaire correctement une petite faim. Ni à recommander, ni à déconseiller, mais pratique si on visite le mémorial. View all feedback.
At the end of the long visit to the memorial, we stopped in this restaurant. which immediately looks very well, well furnished and with very friendly and polite staff. rich and varied map, very good the tin of beef (medium cook) and the fries that accompany it. total price not too high, on average with other French restaurants. advised!
The frame is pleasant facing the trees. The staff is friendly and professional. prices are very reasonable. menu at 16€. dishes are of quality. You won't be disappointed.
From service to food, this place is satisfied. We were here for a private visit to Normandy and we stopped for lunch. our choices in the prefix menu were chicken, duck or fish. 3 out of 6 of us had the thigh of duck. it was cooked to perfection with just the good amount of tasty sauce. gratin potatoes were delicious melting in the mouth. it was served with green beans a little too cooked but overall the meal was very appreciated. The other three of our group had the chicken and there was nothing to say. bread was not a real French bread, but rather what an airline would serve you. It was disappointing. Butter was served with bread. for dessert, we had a fine apple pie with vanilla ice. It was very good with coffee and espresso. I'll definitely come back to the museum just for dinner here and try some other things on the menu. (this turned out to be the best duck of tasting we had in our 10 days in france).
Pleasantly surprised by the discovery of this brewery within the memorial. at the turn of the corridors and hunger we surprisingly enjoyed this brewery allowing a gourmet break before continuing the museum again. a little fear at the beginning of the world already present, we were quickly surprised by the kind and efficient service of our waitress. dishes are traditional but good. Don't hesitate!
During the visit of the memorial, the lunch time went well, we decided to take a break. the full bread apple caf cracked with a monstrous tail, we decide to go to the restaurant the terrace. menu has 16€ dessert dish, we enter and very quickly we install. waitress and waitress, friendly and smiling, very busy because room is full. We order a cod and an apple pie each. well cooked fish, rice and ratatouille very good and good sauce (e.g., dish in vacuum but very correct for price ) apple pie with salted caramel butter, grilled almonds and vanilla ice ball very good. a san pe a beer and 2 coffees, addition to 40€. balance: very high quality price, it's a bit the factory but the memorial is crowded! it is especially the opportunity to sit on the tour
