The dishes were reasonably priced, certainly large enough, tasty but also a bit simple. So price /quality quite oke. Service far abive average. Fam van Eck (NL)

We didn't know Caen and stumbled across this place.... read more We were glad we found this brasserie for lunch. We had a long drive up north and were in need of sustanance. We didn't know Caen and stumbled across this place. It looked nice and airy and in we went. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter when we sat down. He brought our drinks which came with some crisps; a nice touch. The menu was written on a board, and he kindly brought it closer for us to see. We had a Salade Normande, which was refreshing and filling. I had a kg of mussels cooked in Camembert sauce. They were absolutely delicious. It made an excellent change from a white wine sauce. We rounded the meal off with very good coffee. We like the restaurant. It looked new and fresh and probably hasn't been opened/refurbished very long. It's a place to be recommended.
