We were glad we found this brasserie for lunch. We had a long drive up north and were in need of sustanance. We didn't know Caen and stumbled across this place. It looked nice and airy and in we went. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter when we sat down. He brought our drinks which came with some crisps; a nice touch. With the four of us had lunch. 2x Salad chevre chaud and 2x fish and chips. Service was excellent!! Fast, friendly and helpful. During a weekend discovery of caen, were attracted to this brewery that offered dishes at home of good prices. on site, were welcomed by a very pleasant young waitress and a very pleasant young boss who also takes the time to chat with the customers and who even offered us a small glass of calvados from the region! these people deserve to work and we wish them the best.
It's good and they have a menu translated into English. The food is not very expensive and the service is personal and fast. You can pay separately by card if you wish so
Really lovely, clean restaurant. Our meal was perfect. I had all fish my husband had steak. I had dessert as well. Everything was wonderful service was excellent......
A table of 6 covering 3 generations, we were made to feel exceptionally welcome. 2 of us had the 16eur set menu, 2 had the 24, and the children (1 and 4) were kindly offered 2 plates to share one meal. The food was very good, some of the dishes we had were the mussels, the fish soup, terrine/pate, salmon, bream, and lasagne. Not out of this world, but excellent value and very much enjoyed. Service was exceptional. We will visit again.
