I played there with bands during the 90s and early 2000s, so I have fond memories t... read more The Sundowner has been a vibrant spot in the Caboolture area for many years. I played there with bands during the 90s and early 2000s, so I have fond memories that go back a long way and have witnessed many changes over the years! Recently, we hosted my father's 75th birthday party there. The night featured four live bands, creating a fantastic atmosphere, and unlike other venues in the area, there was no hefty booking fee! Wendy, Katie, and the other amazing staff made everything so easy. The catering dishes were delicious, and everyone had a wonderful time. Many guests booked rooms at the motel next door and found them very comfortable after several trips to the bar. I highly recommend this venue!

There was a minor issue with our room, and to my surprise, we were upgraded to a huge apartment, which we absolutely loved! Afterwards, we had dinner at the restaurant, and the lovely staff treated us to a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill. The service here truly goes above and beyond! The portions for the food are generous, and everything was wonderfully cooked. A big thank you to the chef and all the staff – we will definitely return. Thank you so much for making our night unforgettable!

How wonderful, a real surp... read more Met up for Dinner with our eldest Son his partner, that we hadn't seen in such a long time. They Announced that they had got Engaged. How wonderful, a real surprise to us, but a fantastic surprise . We were are so happy for them, also it is well trully about time, but still wonderful This just made our Dinner there that much more a great celebration. Along with our meals they were beautifully cooked, just so Yummy very generous portions ,I may add. We had a lovely night, the staff were so helpful attended to our table quite frequently. It was a lovely cosy near felt like an intimate party for the Engagement. A GREAT Night all round. I rated the evening with5 stars. Thankyou Sundowner for your hospitality, you yet again have given us a wonderful night we will be back. Thankyou to the Chefs wait staff also.. THANKYOU
