large park with a pond filled with canada geese and a greenhouse. shane, it rained strong when we are there. a visit in summer is worth definitiw. very beautiful park. the greenhouse is also nice to go through. had a big coffee shop inside. View all feedback.
What Pamela L doesn't like about The Pavilion Gardens:
Called in for a lunch, staff need training, and no adult supervision, sandwich terrible, tuna mayo and cucumber, 2 sausage rolls and 2 coffees, just short of 16 pound paid, tables dirty, had to clean it myself with hand sanitiser and a serviette, stuffy as no doors open, needs a shake up and a manager to supervise View all feedback.
This is a fantastic location to visit. The park is lovely and it is conveniently located in the center of Buxton, surrounded by fantastic shops and dining options.
Beautiful building, the conservatory plants are very well maintained. Nice cafe. Great views of the park.
Beautiful Park, plenty of place to sit and enjoy the views. A lovely historic building with a conservatory holding a variety of plants. There are tea rooms inside. Plenty of space for children to run around and enjoy the play park away from the main buildings.
The gardens are absolutely stunning with a variety of features. There is always something going on, such as art displays and live music. If you are in Buxton, make sure not to miss this treat for your senses. The entry is free and the venue is wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of seating available throughout the grounds. We visited both on weekends and weekdays at different times of the day.
Lovely pretty gardens. Very popular. Could easily spend a lot of time here. We visited on a sunny afternoon mid weekday during the Easter holidays. A band was playing and it felt quite busy in the Pavilion area people buying ice cream or coffee and cake, and quieter pockets as we were walking around the park. The kids play area is great, with an outdoor gym for older kids.
