Have lived on Hatteras Island since Irene. Had my 60th b-day today and celebrated at Pop's. Kind, attentive, efficient caring staff and excellent food. All of us enjoyed our crab cakes, fried oysters, fish and appetizers. Fantastic French Fries and hushpuppies as well. Drove over 30 minutes to get oysters crab here. Arrived around 5:30 on Tuesday, they opened at 4. Our group sat out front got settled in. Our waitress came out started taking our orders, she had a pretty bad attitude from the get-go which didn’t make any sense to us. The food was incredible, the bartender was outstanding, and the live music was a lot of fun. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend so enjoyable!
Pop's is an excellent dining spot. The food is amazing, and the service is very attentive. It's a longstanding establishment on Hatteras Island that has truly stood the test of time.

This cozy little spot is perfect for wonderful seafood. We dropped by after spending a morning at the beach. We shared a blackened trigger fish platter, which included some lovely pieces of fish, fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. We also ordered half a pound of shrimp and some ice-cold beer. Everything was absolutely delicious. It's a nice restaurant with friendly staff.
I visited the restaurant specifically for the raw oysters, and they did not disappoint; they were excellent when paired with the horseradish sauce. However, the rest of the dishes were quite greasy, so I was grateful to have the oysters as a highlight of my meal. The place was bustling and is clearly a favorite among locals.
