This restaurant offers superior seafood compared to many others. I make an effort to visit as often as possible.
On August 26, 2015, I ordered stuffed flounder, Southern green beans, and a baked potato. At least the potato was decent. Unfortunately, the flounder was overcooked, and the crab stuffing was mostly filler and also overdone. As for the green beans, they seemed to be from a can and were far too overcooked.
I own cottages for rent in Buxton, and I always recommend to my guests that if they want the freshest seafood in town, they should visit where the locals eat: Captain's Table. They return raving about their experience and often go back several times before they leave. - Judy
Wonderful food reminded me of 60s at the beach which is a good thing. Great family place. Ate 3 meals in one week.
On August 26, 2015, I ordered the stuffed flounder, southern green beans, and a baked potato. At least the potato was edible. Unfortunately, the flounder was overcooked and crumbled, mostly consisting of filler and also overcooked. The green beans tasted like they came from a can and were, I believe, well overcooked as well.
