What Jayda Balistreri doesn't like about The Picnic Burwood:
The atmosphere is very nice, but the food is a bit oral and exaggerated. Try the Pavlova Hotcakes twice at different occasions, but I have to say that the old one is beautiful, then the new one. The staff are friendly, but the food needs a fairly long time to get out. View all feedback.

read morePicnic Burwood offers a beautiful selection of food, including delightful options like salmon with wild rice. The restaurant is set in a natural surrounding, creating a unique dining experience. While the food presentation is amazing, the fly season can be a bit of a buzzkill. The cafe has a lovely location, but some customers were disappointed in the bland food and slightly above acceptable service. Despite some negative experiences, others have found The Picnic to be a fabulous cafe with a fabulous breakfast menu. The Picnic Fave is a popular dish that keeps people coming back, along with a diverse and interesting drink menu. Overall, the cafe has potential, but it seems to have some issues with service and consistency in food quality.
