Stopped off after seeing the new signs for Belfield Press in the suburb on the way back from work, and wasn't disappointed. I chose to visit on amid- Monday morning, when it was less likely to be busy after the morning coffee runs. This new cafe/brunchery spot serves coffee from White Horse, which I hadn't had previously - and it's nutty, smooth and warm to the taste, I loved it. Spoke to the owner who was the barista that morning, and he says business is not yet booming but picking up in the area, which is on the rise. He took his time making a good coffee when I mentioned I'd not heard of White Horse before, and I could have combined it with a small but interesting small side menu for brunch if I'd had more time. There's plenty of seating at the communal wooden tables and a sunny spot at the front if you go in the mornings, which I'd recommend. There's a great natural fruit and veggie store just down the road which makes the visit more worthwhile if you're also wanting to stock up on fresh produce to take home, and loads of good parking. I reckon this little-known spot won't stay that way for long - and it's well worth the drive further on from Campsie/Canterbury just for a coffee!
Amazing eating, personal and atmosphere, will definitely come here!
