Burra Roadhouse - BURRA
Burra Roadhouse
Description
Feedback
Small fuel station located in the mid-north town of Burra, South Australia. Its not very large and mainly to cater for domestic vehicles, not really for caravans and trucks. Has all the fuel bowsers and a small shop with hot food and coffee. I was there very early in the morning but I am not sure whether its 24 hour. Toilets on premises, practices functioning Covid protocol and has QR code check-in.
Excellent professional prompt and friendly service from Sou. Others should take a lesson from Sou on how to operate a customer focussed business. Thank you Sou for helping us out.
The restaurant was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. They provided thongs made of material instead of plastic, which is better for your toes. They offered a wide variety of items, similar to a grocery store, although I didn't notice any vegetables. I didn't stay long because it was a hot day, but inside the store was pleasantly cool.
The restaurant may not be much to look at, but we had a delightful Indian meal there.
The chicken that you buy from this Roadhouse is just mouth watering. Hubby and I took some of our family here for our tea. We got more then we bargained for. We ordered 2 Chickens and chips. We couldn't believe it when we were called for our order. The staff had set up a table for us. We had everything set out for us, Plates, cutlery and serviettes. The meal was placed in the centre of the table. The chickens had been cut up into pieces and the chips were on a platter. This is what I call excellent service. We were expecting to take our meals outside and eat. We would definitely visit there again.
