Unfortunately, it was very chewy and served rare instead of mediu... read more I was dragged here because my friends like Italian food. I don't so opted for a sirlion steak. Unfortunately, it was very chewy and served rare instead of medium rare. I was disappointed with the steak. The garlic breads were great but that was just the sides. It's not somewhere I'd go to again soon for a steak. The Italian food may be ok, the wife seemed to like that (apart from a surprise piece of bone in her chicken) but its not for steak lovers unfortunately. Probably didn't help that there was 2 parties of 34 people in there at the same time. It was very busy.

W... read more Came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Such a cute little restaurant. The cocktails are incredible even the home made sangria we had made. We ate that much we couldn't even get a pudding so that's for the next visit. The waitress was so helpful and polite didn't mind altering food and drinks as I didn't like some ingredients. Overall I had a lovely time

Great selection of drinks, but what really ma... read more The food is fantastic, great pasta, great steaks, the stone cooked lamb is huge, my daughter Eliza and I loved it. Great selection of drinks, but what really makes Ballaro’s are the staff, friendly, funny helpful, attentive. I think we’ve been five or six times.… so far. It’s rare to find great food with service to match so credit where it’s due.
