I asked the counter girl last Sunday AM for a fresh one and she went on to actually argue with me in front of customers that they are always fresh and that it wasimpossible I had a stale one, that I was lying. I 100% have had stale danishes there that I had to spit out. Like I mentioned,most of the time they are delicious, which is why I come back. Anyway, ?Customer is always right? is definitely not presenthere, especially from that young female employee, disgusting behaviour for a great brand.

I especially love their cheese, spinach, and other pull-apart rolls. Additionally, they have some lovely scones that go wonderfully with tea. Personally, I think a few of their sweet treats are a bit too sugary for my taste, but that’s just my preference. All in all, the emphasis is undoubtedly on their incredible bread, which always makes it worth a visit.

It's a bit on the expensive side, but the quality definitely justifies the price.

The bread is always fresh, and the staff are consistently friendly. They use quality ingredients, and the team creates truly delicious baked treats. The scones are fantastic—perfect to enjoy with a coffee at work. I always ask for extra icing (which they generously offer on everything) because life’s too short not to indulge. I stopped by today and will keep coming back week after week forever.

However,... read more I've loved Cobs for many years. The staff are friendly, attentive, and committed to serving you quickly. Their specialty buns and scones are delicious. However, over the past few weeks, their whole wheat bread hasn’t seemed properly mixed (see photo for reference). This is the third loaf in a row with this issue out of four loaves purchased. Hopefully, the quality will improve soon.
